The series focuses on the tension between a group of corrupt but effective cops and a captain torn between bringing them down and advancing his own political ambitions. The Shield stars Michael Chiklis (The Commish) as rogue cop “Det. The Shield TV Series Theme Song – remix

(Just another day)
Livin’ the good life
We’re buying the good blocks
C’mon get happy
In the beautiful sunshine
Throwin’ a peace sign
Throw your hands up

Listen homey
Nothing’s gonna make you fall back
like this crazed bald cat
with a baseball bat
See my Ace all scrapped
My way or the new way
The black and blue way
the face down and all bruised way (Bang!)
The Force’s fours get the illest talking
With the eyes of a hawk
Farmington’s finest
with the crime and a spine
and the 9 on his waist line
Pray he on your side
or end up shook beat battered and booked
before you look up
The baddest man that ever put on a badge (shield!)
And ain’t no working out deals, up on the real (man is ill!)
In his bean,
the ends justifies the means
He’ll do anything in a scheme
to keep the streets clean
The Strike force never play by no rules
pullin’ out tools on the right dude
and schoolin’ these fools
and they’ll be lucky if they even live to tell the story
he ain’t a cop, he’s a savior
Scratch, Roc Raida

(Just another day)
Livin’ the good life
We’re buying the good blocks
C’mon get happy
In the beautiful sunshine
Throwin’ a peace sign
Throw your hands up

It don’t matter what you come strat with
you don’t want it with this cat here
and that’s a fact, bitch
They all nuts, cop jury and judge
so call him corrupt cause he can run on a hunch
man he can run amok, a human truck
His heart pump diesel
they here to clean the streets
not to treat you freaks equal
and you won’t get a sequel, see
it’s a wrap for you rat bastards (you Lemonheads)
you can crack if you can’t hack it
the tactics are drastic
pack plastic automatics
kick ass and rock badges
Goddamn, this aint the burbs
justice needs to get served
Mackey’ll churn’em on a burner
have’em singin like birds
He ain’t here to make friends
He can break men who wont bend
and send’em all up to the state penn
it’s a deal
you can feel that he’s the real
stronger than the steel in his own shield
Little bitches

(Just another day)
Livin’ the good life
We’re buying the good blocks
C’mon get happy
In the beautiful sunshine
Throwin’ a peace sign
Throw your hands up

What Are The Detectives From The Shield, Doing Now?

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Although ‘The Shield’, stopped airing after the completion of Season 7 last year, it still remains as one of the most loved series amongst the audiences. So when I came across some news about two detectives from our favorite cop series, I decided to share the same with you.

Detective Curtis ‘Lem’ Lemansky“, (played by Kenny Johnson) and “Detective Terry Crowley” (played by Reed Diamond), would never had thought that someone would be spying on them. Well!  To tell you the truth, to learn more about them, I looked into the lives of the actors who had played the roles of these characters, with the expectation of getting some news about them. I searched hard, read about them from here and there, and then managed to get hold of the following information. 051909 1932 whatarethed1 What Are The Detectives From The Shield, Doing Now?

“Curtis Lemansky” was one of my favorite detectives in the series, ‘The Shield’. Kenny Johnson, who portrayed this character so well, is currently working on the biographical film on screen legend, Steve McQueen.
Jesse Wigutow has been hired to write the screenplay of the film. Michael Cerenzie and Christine Peters are the producers and Kenny Johnson is the co-executive producer, along with Graham Kyle, Brett Granstaff and Keith Watkins.

Another detective whom I liked on ‘The Shield‘ is, “Terry Crowley” whose character was enacted by Reed Diamond. Reed is currently playing the role of Laurence Dominic on the new TV series ‘Dollhouse‘, which premiered on 13 February 2009. He has recurring role on the show and his character has been revealed to be that of an undercover NSA agent. The series has already completed airing the episodes of its first season.

There was a strange connection between the two detectives on ‘The Shield‘. The strange connection between the two resulted from their association with Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis). It was an irony that Curtis was loyal to Vic, while being unaware of the fact that Terry was killed by Vic.

I always felt curious about these corrupt detectives who would go to any limits to maintain law and order and I liked watching them untilThe Shield concluded on 25 November 2008. But I still watch my favorite episodes from the show by downloading them from this website or even watching them online here.

The Shield: Parracide Recap

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Good God damn, my friends! While it’s true that I’m not a big TV person at all, I can’t imagine that there is ANYTHING out there this year that comes anywhere near the sheer intensity of this final season of The Shield. I dare you. No, I double-dare you to find any show that even comes close to matching the gut-wrenching intensity of this series, which is showcased in another spectacular episode called Parricide.

We last left off with Shane essentially blackmailing the thug Two-Man into killing Ronnie for him, as payback for his own attempted assassination. What we don’t know at the end of that episode is how Vic will be dealt with, and we find out in the opening moments here. After a brief scene where Shane goes over the exit plan with his wife Mara, we see Ronnie coming home with a hot little Asian date. Thankfully she sees the helmeted gunman before he fires a barrage of shots that do nothing but wing the arm of his date. At the same time, Shane is waiting inside Vic’s apartment, gun in hand and nervous as hell. Just before Vic gets to the door, Ronnie calls with the news and he bolts before even opening the door, which sets us up for one of the most intense Shield episodes I’ve ever seen… and I’ve seen them all, folks.

Of course, cops don’t take attempted murders on other cops lightly, so the whole Barn is out looking for Two-Man, thanks to Ronnie’s neighbor’s description of the bike and partial plate. Of course, it makes sense that Two-Man might come after Ronnie, given their previous encounter where Ronnie broke his jaw, so the department is on the lookout for him. Meanwhile, Vic is meeting up with ICE to try and secure future employment after his short period of time is up at The Barn. Before the Ronnie shooting, we saw Vic at a late-night meeting with an edgy Pezuela, who even has a bodyguard check to see if he’s wired. The heat is getting turned up for sure, and Pezuela isn’t as Rico Suave as he normally is. He lets ICE know about the late-night meeting and Councilman David Aceveda shows up after his sketchy meeting with Pezuela that we see, where Pezuela essentially guarantees a victory in his campaign for mayor, if he allows Pezuela’s support. Both Vic and David are now undercover and trying to bring Pezuela down, which should propel the rest of this season quite nicely.

One of the cooler things about this episode is seeing Shane basically take the reigns from his former mentor, Vic. We’ve seen in the history of this show, Vic handling these slings and arrows of dirty deeds without trying to get caught or killed incredibly well, and now it’s Shane’s turn to do it on his own. We see him manipulate Julien, who’s the only available person to ride with after Claudette has Ronnie on desk duty (mandatory after a cop is a victim of a crime), and Vic is on loan to ICE. It’s quite amazing to see all of the things Vic used to do so effortlessly be transferred over to Shane, who manages fine but shows his proverbial hand a lot more in his face, which is some superb acting on Walton Goggins’ part.

Sadly, we get no blast from the past here, but we really don’t need it after this episode simply erupts in the last half. I hate to tease like this, but I really don’t want to give this amazing ending away at all. Lets just put it this way: by the end of this episode, two members of The Barn aren’t cops anymore… Sit with that for a minute. Seriously though, this “Parricide” episode will leave your jaw dropped, your knuckles white and you’ll be simply begging for more. Seriously, folks. Holy s&^t!! I NEED ANOTHER SCREENER DISC NOW!! Thankfully I have another one en route because I just simply can’t stop watching this outstanding final season.
